A moment where I lower my head in shame..............

(snips from article)

RAMADI, Iraq - The bride arrives in a white pickup truck and is quickly ushered into a house by a group of women. Outside, men recline on brightly colored silk pillows, relaxing on the carpeted floor of a large goat-hair tent as boys dance to tribal songs.

“There was no evidence of a wedding: no decorations, no musical instruments found, no large quantities of food or leftover servings one would expect from a wedding celebration,” Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt said Saturday. “There may have been some kind of celebration. Bad people have celebrations, too.”

But video that APTN shot a day after the attack shows fragments of musical instruments, pots and pans and brightly colored beddings used for celebrations, scattered around the bombed out tent.

APTN also traveled to Mogr el-Deeb, 250 miles west of Ramadi, the day after the attack to film what the survivors said was the wedding site. A devastated building and remnants of the tent, pots and pans could be seen, along with bits of what appeared to be the remnants of ordnance, one of which bore the marking “ATU-35,” similar to those on U.S. bombs.

1. Bush Won't Apologize
It's not in the banty rooster's make-up to do so. He'll just deny it and proclaim it a victory against the enemy (Iraqi citizens).

2. Bush is too pyscho to apologise
I was surprised he apologised for Abu Ghraib. I guess if he didn't really mean it deep down then that was OK by him though.

10. Harldy and apology
Bush claims that he apologised in private to the King of Jordan. I would harldy call that an apology.

8. Man, that is disgusting...
This war machine has got to be dismantled.

The idea that we are fighting over there to avoid fighting over here is absurd. We should only fight in defense.

4. No, no, no, no, no
You didn't do it. It is not you're fault. You are not responsible. It was Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld, Wolfowtz. You're NOT GUILTY. Stop beating yourself up.

Hold your head up high for understanding what those people did was wrong. Spread the word.

6. Wrong. We all did it.
If you paid your taxes, you helped do this. If you were not willing to sacrifice your personal comfort to stop these crazies from implementing their plans, you helped do this.

Our cooperation with the power of the US state helped do this. The state would be unable to carry this out if it did not have cooperation with its immorality.

The initial poster helped do this, even as he/she stands against it. I also helped do it, even as I stand against it. We all did.

9. He is right.
While America, the nation, did this; you and I and millions of others tried to prevent us being there in the first place.

I refuse to feel guilty for screaming at the top of my lungs that this war is wrong. I refuse to feel guilty for the torture of prisoners that was not sanctioned by me, but by the Bush admin.

I f'n double dare someone to call me a traitor these days. I've had enough--and I will lambast any Bush apologist I see. THEY should assume the guilt; because it is their silence and complicity that allowed this to happen.
