The Virgin Ben Strikes Again!
Seems that he has a book out now, complaining about liberal "brainwashing" on campus.

http://www.csmonitor.com/2004/0524/p12s01-legn.html

Ben Shapiro attended the University of California at Los Angeles and came out dismayed by much of what he heard and saw. Professors there, he laments, routinely spouted liberal propaganda and rarely had their biases challenged. Conservative thinkers, on the contrary, Mr. Shapiro says, were generally shrugged off as not too bright.

As a columnist for UCLA's student paper The Daily Bruin, he was able to voice his outrage until, he claims, he was fired for his views.

Now - having already graduated from UCLA at 20 - Shapiro has written "Brainwashed: How Universities Indoctrinate America's Youth" (WND Books), alerting the world to what Shapiro sees as the sorry state of US higher education.

Do conservatives ever get tired of reading the same thing over and over? Is there any limit to their need to have their prejudices reconfirmed and reconfirmed? Cons have been writing this same book over and over since Buckley's God and Man at Yale came out in 1951.

And let's be honest here--the Virgin Ben's complaint is not about brainwashing per se, but about the fact that he and his kind aren't the ones washing those vulnerable young brains.

and school prayer is not about not being allowed to pray at school, but rather about not being allowed to indoctrinate other people with your prayers.

3. I've known some bright conservatives, but they are a rare breed.
Some people are conservative because they have looked at all the options and chosen that one. But most people I know who call themslves conservative, particularly the young ones, are so because they see the world in simplistic terms due to their inability to step outside themselves.

5. Ben Shapiro, Boy Prognosticator
You'd think if we were so all fired good at brainwashing kids, we'd, oh, I don't know, have control of the white house, congress, the media, and so on.

The great strength of the Right Wing (well one of them) is the pathetic ability to wield enormous power while still pretending they are a persecuted minority.

this kid will never get laid, he's such a fucking baby.

to the point about conservative books not being original since Buckley's book: Ann Coulter's Treason was original for just how unbelievably vicious her bullshit attacks against liberals and Democrats were. Sean Hannity's was original in that it's the first time the exact same book was released under two different titles, with the second book written even more poorly than the first. Most conservative writers at least have the ability to write well.

8. The question is: Why are so many of the brightest among us 'liberal?'
The answer is in the question. How many really 'conservative' history greats can you name? Ghengis Kahn, Hitler, Mussolini, Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, .....

Some notable 'liberals' Jesus Christ, MLK, G. Washington, T. Jefferson, Ben Franklin, Marx, Ghandi.....
