OK everyone let's Bundle
It is really easy. Just tell you friends and co-workers that you are contributing to the Kerry Campaign and ask if they would like to help. People often want to do something but they don't want to put their credit card on the net or take the time and energy to actually mail in a donation. Ask for small donations $5-$10-or $20 and gather as much as you can every payday and make a contribution. This is probably the single most important election in the history of the US so let's not blow this one. Bundling is very easy. People do want to help but they are either just lazy or don't know how or where to send the money. Take some initiative and Bundle. America needs your Patriotism. It is the least we can do and it is simple.

2. Oh. I thought we were all climbing in bed together.
Bundling
By the mid-1700s, parents had grown more "liberal" with their marriage aged children. During the harsh winter months, when both travel and heating a house were difficult, couples would go to bed together, fully clothed of course, for a night of what might be considered verbal intercourse. It was called "bundling".
Parents who lacked sufficient trust, employed the most effective of birth control devices - a bundling board down the middle of the bed.

4. Hi Bandit.
Did Dean give Kerry his mailing list? Cause I'm getting regular Kerry letters now and I never signed up. Not that I mind. It helps me get to know him better.

As for asking people for donations...I don't think most people will give you money like that. But maybe that's just the type of people I'm around....the ones who would like to help are broke and the ones with bucks would rather be given his website or literature showing how they can contribute.

If it works in your areas, great!

8. I hope Dean is sharing his list and am fairly sure he is. We need to win
I realize that a lot want to do it themselves but a few would just as soon have someone else do the leg work for them and are willing to put up a few bucks toward the effort. I am donating fifty dollars every payday. I am also asking employees if they would like to contribute and give them Kerry's Web site and tell them if they wish I will add their money to mine because I do contribute every two weeks. I also say if they would prefer I will donate their money to Moveon.org instead. I am just trying to expedite things for all.

5. Here's what I'm doing.
And believe me, I'm not bragging.
I sent $100 this month.
I'm going to send $100 a month until the election.
It's a stretch for me.
I wanted to send one month's Social Security check, but I just can't afford it.
Try and make a monthly pledge to yourself.

And...I have NEVER contributed to a political campaign before.
This time, all the stops come out. This is deadly serious.

:wow:

Do I recall right that you and your lovely wife had money problems not to long ago? The Boy King had redefined your retirement?

And you donate that amount? Damn! You are the most patriotic man on this board, hands down! And a great fisherman to boot!

You are so right it is deadly serious, I've been converting all over the place!

7. Hey Rip. Not catastrophic.
I'm one of the "lucky" ones.
I have health and med insurance.
But the "free" health and prescription drug insurance benefits that was part of my retirement package now cost me over $200 a month.
I sure didn't budget for THAT when I retired in '99.

Oh, my S/S COLA raise was 4 bucks a month this year.
I may blow it on a big bag of Fritos.

9. Know what you mean...
Our WONDERFUL ASTOUNDING CAN'T THANK SMIRK ENOUGH FOR IT GOSH DARN TAX BREAK from the crooks running the show boat that showed up in our Turbotax this year, is long gone. My grocery bill is unbelievable, and I was counting on it going down this year, because I joined a CSA and paid for most of my veggies up front, last fall.

I'm in interesting talks with my retired dad in NC.

Glad to hear yall are well!
