1. yeah, I'm reading it too
I think I need a break. He's basically saying ignoring the problem is the worse thing we could do. That the right wing media are dishonest and noone ever calls them on it. (Half of Americans still believe Saddam was linked to 9-11.) They get away with it because they are bullies.

Someone finish it and tell me if he has a solution. I'm going to read something uplifting like Devil in the White City.

3. You're right; Ignoring what they ARE doing (right this minute)
IS the worst thing we can do.

I'm doing a bunch of stuff, so that kinds of hits me where I live.

I'm reading the book to get their process outlined in full, then I will look around me to see what is going on in comparison to that process.

2. Speaking of Brock...
A trip to MediaMatters.org always makes me giggle. I love the way they dissect the gross, Conservative talking-heads!

:bounce:

4. Kerry do this to win big time
say--

"My first act as president will be to kick the PNAC GANG out of the People's House."
"My second act will be to boot the ATR GANG out of the People's House."

"That PNAC GANG has ruined our foreign policy"
That ATR GANG has ruined our domestic policy."

This will change the debate.

People will have no emotional attachment to the GANGS.
They have it for a President.

Most never heard of these two GANGS.

They are responsible. So, attack the culprits.

It will change the dynamics.

Much to attack. People will learn. They will turn on the GANGS.

Kerry do it. Now. It will give a different flavor.

help me promote this to Kerry.

Clark or Dean could use it and bump Kerry.

It is important. Very.

5. Its a very simple and effective tactic
Barrage the people with the lie continuously. Never even acknowledge criticism of it. Only promote the lie. The media will have no choice but to publish your lie.

This tactic effectively strangles the truth and promotes the lie. Even if the truth gets heard it is drowned out by the chorus of liars. Those that do not buy into the lie get dismissed as crazy.

6. I read his "Blinded by the Right"

and it was too little, too late, but nice that he apologized.
