CBS News Poll: Shrub's Approval Now @ A Dismal 41%

CBS News Poll 5/24

Bush approval falls to 41%, a decline of 3 percentage points.

52% disapprove. 34% approve of his handling of Iraq.

3. So I guess we'll have to wait until he hits 37% to start celebrating...

...factor in the 34% fundie vote, plus the outliers who are anti-gay, anti-environment, anti-women, etc. There is probably a lot of overlap, but I'd say 37% is his floor.

finally! What can he possibly say at this point that anyone will believe?

He will have his supporters to the end such as Limbaugh and Hannity. They will just keep sputtering away and people will listen to them for a few laughs.

6. If Asshole Bush jumps 5% in the polls after this speech...

I am gonna KNOW the polls are rigged in his favor! Nothing that fool can say, is gonna 'make it better'. And it just keeps getting worse.

I'll almost bet we will be back to 'neck and neck' after this speech, and that is flatly impossible.

That's how cynical I am.
