They then get to say ad nauseum that Bush is outlining a clear plan for Iraq, while most of the American people don't have an opportunity to hear it and judge for themselves just how "clear" it is.

I think if the White House asked, the networks would have complied. If not, there would have been a major brouhaha. The fact that you've heard very little howling from the White House about the decision seems to speak volumes to me.

I actually WANT as many people as possible to see these sham speeches, that will undoubtedly be filled with the usual empty rhetoric and nothing new. If it's carried just by cable news, it won't get the play I'd like it to.

C'mon! What would Trailer Park America rather see, "Fear Factor" or some lame-ass speech by the Prevaricator-in-Chief?
