Poll question: Is the Washington Times A Legitimate News Source?
A debate is currently raging on the Justice/Public Safety Board concerning links to the Washington Times. Some people say it's a legitimate news source - others say it's a propaganda machine for the right wing and Rev. Moon, who owns it and UPI.

SO what do YOU think? Personally, I wouldn't wrap fish with the Washington Times - it would make the fish smell bad........

I've structured the poll as a simple "yes" or "no" choice. Feel free to add your comments in a reply.

1. It's nothing but Moon-wing propaganda
But remember, the Bushes are linked to Moon (aka self-proclaimed Second Coming of Christ).

Get yer Google running. Head out on the Truth Highway. Looking for adventure, and whatever comes your way.

2. What's especially funny
is that the Messiah, besides putting out his propaganda rag, also owns a gun company (Kahr Arms, maker of the gun that killed the NYC councilman) which is so shoddily run that guns just walk out the door and into criminal hands...

Yet there are some down on J/PS expecting us to buy his opinion as a voice of impartial information on gun control issues.

3. You haven't allowed much room for gray areas, CO
A stopped clock is right twice a day, and even the most outrageous propaganda machine occasionally puts out some useful, accurate, factual information. A news source is incomplete without some effort by the reader to sort out the wheat from the chaff.

4. I voted yes
it's their editorial slant that is corrupted. But they do in fact present real news and facts and it is fairly legitimate. Now ask me about the National Enquirer....

5. Highly biased
but legitimate. They will frequently publish something before they get confirmation (a la Drudge) but they do have real news. Unfortunately they also routinely include right wing spin in their presentation of the news. Overall they are slightly more legit than Faux News.
