They are saying the occupation will end, but US troops and advisors will remain. This from the people who threw the fit over Clinton saying, "that depends on what the definition of 'is' is." So now we are to believe that we can just SAY the occupation is over and everyone will buy it. We're sending more troops, we're picking their government (1 Pres, 1 PM, and 2 VPs - what's up with that?), we will still be fighting "insurgents" who oppose the American hand-picked puppets, but we will no longer be an occupying power. Right, and there was no torture at Abu Graib - just a few bad apples doing frat pranks. We didn't bomb a civilian wedding party - no, it was "bad people" having a celebration.
