WHats Al Franken think of this lame law suite?
Has he commented on it yet? Could he actually loose? Will he be forced to change the title? Will this publicity actually help in sales? Any comments?

3. No matter the outcome
one would think that it would give more fuel to the Franken fire. If Faux loses, he can point out what childish idiots they are, and if they somehow manage to win this insane suit, then Franken can point out that they really are facists. It should help sales greatly and put more money in Franken's pocket. That would REALLY piss off Faux I would think.

7. Agree,
I'd think Franken is thrilled for this to be happening. No such thing as bad PR is what they say.

4. As far as publicity goes...
I read both A Living History and Blinded By The Right just because it pissed off the right wing idiots. I plan on reading The Clinton Wars too and now I have no choice but to read the new Al Franken book.

I hate their politics, but damn it, they give great publicity to some really good books.

6. I'm hoping Al Franken has enough time to re-write a new forward discussing
this lawsuite. If not, he probably will with the paperback edition.Franken could actually use this to his advantage. How shameless is Drudge?Did you see the shit he posted about Franken on his site? Guess they need to try to discredit him as much as possible.Of course, if the book does well, Fox & O'Reilly will take credit now.

8. Would love to hear it
Fox News HATES Al Franken, ever since he punked out 'O'Really'.

Mr. No Spin trashes Franken any chance he gets. He thinks he's the antichrist.

And Franken must be loving it. You can't buy that kind of publicity!

Annthrax and Shrub are the two biggest liars and then O'really and "Big Time". He couldn't have chosen better IMHO.

14. loser
Fox has no grounds for a lawsuit. From what Fox claims, the "fair and balanced" part of the title was meant to confuse readers. If so, this falls under pardoy which is protected by the first amendment. There are many precedents for this. Fox cannot win.
