1. Yes I heard him say that.
I am sure the Iraqis will appreciate a new hi tech prison so we can protect their freedoms.

3. Another inappropriate random subject out of nowhere...
...like sex slavery and steroids in his State of the Union addresses.

You're listening, and suddenly it's a :wtf: moment.

Completely glossed over what happened in the prison (still can't think of any mistakes, Mr. Resident?) and tells everyone we're building a NEW prison. Great emphasis :eyes:

4. All hail King George!
The biggest Halliburton construction project in Iraq -- next to the new embassy (aka Darth Cheney Death Star)-- is a vast state of the art prison.

Did this adminstration REALLY think that they are going to win Iraqi hearts and minds by announcing that they plan to build a splendid new prison to incarcerate them in?

How can they be so ungrateful regarding His Chimperial Majesty's compassionate generousity? /sarcasm off

5. transcript: America will fund... a modern maximum security prison

"A new Iraq will also need a humane, well-supervised prison system. Under the dictator, prisons like Abu Ghraib were symbols of death and torture. That same prison became a symbol of disgraceful conduct by a few American troops who dishonored our country and disregarded our values. America will fund the construction of a modern, maximum security prison. When that prison is completed, detainees at Abu Ghraib will be relocated. Then, with the approval of the Iraqi government, we will demolish the Abu Ghraib prison, as a fitting symbol of Iraq's new beginning."

6. Will the relocated "detainees" be singing...
..."Movin On Up" from the Jeffersons? It would be appropriate. Hey GOODY! No longer will I be tortured in orange jumpsuits in Saddams dirty old death camp under new management, I'll now be tortuered in a high security, state of the art Halliburton facility, with scanners that will prevent pesky camera bearing folk that might infringe on my right to private torture sessions...

What a symbol! That George, what a...a....man? monster? mobster?
