GWB Not Invited To Spanish Royal Wedding...Clinton? Si!
I think it's pretty funny that both Clinton and George The First were invited to the very hunky Prince Felipe's wedding, yet Dubya didn't make the list.

Clinton & GHWB both send regrets, citing schedule conflicts.

For those who read Spanish, this is the link to the article, from the paper ABC:

2. It would be even funnier if both went
..thus underscoring what an aberration the present Bush junta is.

8. Really? That's too cool. But maybe they figured he's
too busy. Still, it's funny.

As far as Clinton & daddy Bush not going because of schedule conflicts, I wouldn't go to Spain, either. Too dangerous right now.

9. Security was very tight for the wedding.
But the churches & all the rest of Madrid looked quite beautiful, anyway.

I can get shot down in Houston; I'd go to Spain if I had a chance.

11. My sister is going to Spain for a month in July
and I've tried my best to talk her out of it because of danger but she says the same thing, she can be killed anywhere and is not going to live her life in fear.

10. There would have been enormous anti-Bush demonstrations...
that would disrupt the wedding.

12. I have to give you a bit of the Babel Fish automatic translation
"Fidel I do not castrate either, president of Cuba was invited to the wedding, since Don Felipe has not visited officially the island."
