the wing nuts found the congress.org site
http://capwiz.com/congressorg/pyv/stats/?action=stats&id=02A0C5B9

they turned the whole country red over the weekend. i think they may have figured out how to pledge more than once, oe else the feature that allowed only one vote from each computer is malfunctioning, because i was allowed to register again.

you look at this and KNOW it's been phucked with, cause there's no way. just no way.

2. It was an automated script of some sort
Several thousand Bush votes were added in a few hours.

Try an email and see if anyone responds. So far no answer to mine.

but they sure as hell are evil!!! That's what they do with the brains God gave them--use'em for diabolical, selfish purposes.

5. LOL......
those idiots probably voted non-stop all week-end. What good does it do them when the truth will come out in Nov. when Kerry is elected? They are fools. LOL

6. How they usually do it
They watch the cookie cache the first time they vote, so they can see what cookie it writes. Then they delete the cookie and vote again. And again. And again.

Several freepers actually can code, and have written scripts and small applications that will automatically vote and remove the cookies as many times as desired. That's how 100,000 votes can be logged in a few hours.

Of course, with some e-mail to the admins and sysops at Congress.org, the magic of "IP Logging" will take care of that problem in a hurry!

8. CA going 64% for Bush?
Anyone with half a brain can tell that it is some Republican's wet dream. I can't wait for till they're ripped from their sweet dream with Kerry in the White House.

9. here's more:
CALL TO ACTION: Contact your representatives to demand assurance that presidential elections will be held, with integrity, in November.

Doesn't it seem curious that the Bush administration seems to believe it will be re-elected no matter what they do? Why do they believe they can't lose?

~snip~

Case in point is the www.congress.org "online voting" feature called "Pledge Your Vote". It allows people to vote for Kerry vs. Bush, provided they identify themselves with an email address. Until about 5 days ago, support for Bush was dropping corresponding to the drop in his approval rating reflected in national polls. At one point, only 2 states were showing Bush ahead. About 7,000 votes were in the Kerry column, and about 5,000 in the Bush column. Then IN ONE DAY, an additional 10,000 votes were registered and the all states registered in the Bush column.

No one has come forward to claim this act of terrorism against democracy, so that we don't know who is responsible. Could be a campaign run by the RNC, or could be a lone-gun campaign like those that use fake email ids to spam your mailbox. The point is, that SOMEONE has shown how easy it is to falsify polls and votes. There is discussion of letting military in theater vote in this way; this abuse is quite to the point.

Please contact your representative, let them know that you are extremely concerned about election tampering and ask what guarantees citizens have of fair and honest elections. Then remain skeptical of what you hear. Investigate for yourselves.

10. there was a post on freerepublic about two weeks ago
asking them to freep it and write comments into the soapbox alerts.

They also pointed out that congress.org gives easy access to email addresses of officials for their hate mail.

Simple minds get excited by simple things. From reading some of their post I imagined how they salivated as, after hours and hours of voting and Carpal Tunnel pain, States turned red.

Hey, lurking freepers, just voting on the Internet doesn't make it a reality. I know, it is a hard concept to understand (and some of you even might know): Our next President (John Kerry) will be elected through elections in November. And he'll bring integrity, honor, and competence back to the White House. The only thing turning red will be freepers' faces.

14. Let Them Have Their Maps, Polls, Games...
Guarded and policed Port-A-Potty's at a heavily attended event with "first-amendment" zones.

The people have spoken: "Up yours" and "You're paying for shit?"

I guess we'll find out soon enough who the people feel is better qualified to run the country.

If it's ALL red it has zero propaganda value even to the few people who see it.

By monkeying with it you're only going to turn a few states blue and make it much more damaging looking because it will look like it might be legitimate (not that it matters at all, but I'm buying into the premise of the post that this matters to anyone)
