hypothetical question about Abu Ghraib prison
Suppose in your state, there were news articles about guards mistreating prisoners.

And suppose the governor announced he was going to respond by demolishing the prison, and building a new prison at the same location.

Would you support that?

1. no, it is a waste of money.
i think it is very foolish. it would be fine if we had money to spare, but we don't. tearing down the prison does not erase the crimes that were committed there. it is a weak and imo wasteful PR stunt.

2. complete waste of money
our tax dollars that the repugs have hijacked into this war would better be served building and supplying schools than wasted on tearing down and building prisons for the sake of PR.
