You can't make a campaign about money?
This from a prefossional politician?
I'm against it and I don't like it a bit, but now a campaign is ALL about money.
Where has HE been?

But then you mainly get creamed by the pppl who have $2000/plate dinners. Not because they are better on the issues but because they are better at fundraising. :eyes:

The DNC will go on as schedualed, The party platform will be decided, they will have all the speakers still give speeches, the deligates will still vote, Kerry & his VP choice will still give their speeches on the last night.

The only difference will be those six words....

I accept the nomination for president.

If they just leave out those 6 words, the playing field will be leveled against the shrubco marketing machine fueled by the oil lobby for the 5 weeks between the DNC and Shrubapalooza in NYC.

It's not just about money, it's about fairness.

it is ALL about the money when those lying, crooked shrubbies run ad after ad misleading Americans about Kerry. Without comparable funds toward the end of the race, we will be unable to counter the lies. The "Issues" will NOT buy television time.

Sounds like Mr "mayor" is getting pulled in a few different directions as well.
