The * no-lose scenario
The aftermath of today's terror alert:

Nothing happens: "What a fine job * and his cronies are doing. Stopped it dead in it's tracks. Keep us on the payroll."

Something happens: "See, they want us all dead. Let George finish the job. Keep us on the payroll or else."

Pretty good plan for a gang that can't shoot straight.

where in hell are you going to find a Democrat with enough guts to say it? Democratic courage is is mighty short supply any more.

2. If nothing happens
they'll keep saying something is about to happen. Everyone knows he hasn't done a 'fine job', so their last resort will be an attempt to keep everyone frightened.
