I wonder what Martin Luther King would be doing today?
I just watched a show on Rosa Parks and hearing Dr. King speak in it still gives me the chills. Truly a great man in history and I am grateful to have been living during his life.

1. If Ray hadn't shot him somebody else would have.
Probably the FBI or local police. Like a bunch of other black leaders in the seventies.

If he had lived he'd be marginalized by repubs like Bill O'Reilly, constantly criticized for cheating on his wife, ad infinitum.

3. It was a "quieter" time, Trumad. When folks had lives to live...and
weren't obsessed with the Media and their SUV's.

BUT...I think if he were alive today, he could focus us, on what's wrong with America and then he would "let the chips fall where they may."

I don't think he would be able to have THE VOICE to gather folks together, because the MEDIA today drowns out any "commonality of purpose" but he would be a minor voice.

I think MLK would have MORPHED into AL GORE!

I do...so laugh and snark and ignore me...but, I think what I think and I say it. :D

2. He'd be howling mad about the state of this country
Civil rights not only stalled out but going backward. Greater gap between poor and rich. Another pointless war based on lies.

At the end. It was said more than 3 decades ago, but he could have said it this week.
