I don't have TV, so I am blissfully ignorant of ALL that stuff! But not really. You can get rid of your TV, and still somehow you will still know what shows are on and what is hot. THERE IS NO ESCAPE!

Bush is surely in bed by now. Pickles is soaking his pretzels in hot milk so he won't choke.

We own one, for movies, but no cable. I am ignorant as well, and a bit proud of it. Leaves me out of a lot of discussions at work, though LOL :evilgrin:

So every once in a while I plug it in.

But only if one of my favorite teams is in the NBA finals.

AND

I plugged it in when Richard Clarke was on 60 minutes.

But after five years without it, I find it hard to tolerate. SO FRANTIC.

I turn them on very occasionally, usually when not feeling well, to just tune out for a few minutes. Even with them, we get 1.5 channels. We did watch Clarke, as well, though! :D

I bet. My 27"er makes a perfectly wonderful pot for a pretty big peace lily on my stoop.
