A British anti-terrorism police unit raided the London home on Thursday of the Egyptian-British Muslim cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri and took him into custody.

Police arrested him on an extradition warrant issued by the United States, a spokeswoman said.

"We arrested a 47-year-old man at about three o'clock this morning," she said.

You can tell he is feeling better: he called a press conference yesterday and another one today. He is making up for all the time he was in the hospital and not in front of a camera.

I swear, as much as I hate all the bush admin, asskkkroft is the worst: he is a true religious fundy attempting to replace law with what he interprets as God's will. They have been trying to kick him out of the country for MONTHS! So I figure chimpy* calls poodle and says " got anyone you can arrest for johnny to parade on TV tomorrow?" He was arrested at his West London home in the early morning hours today! THis is so fucking obvious!
