According to the Chicago Tribune, "WLIB won sevenfold with a 2.9 share to WABC's 0.4" among the former group and "WLIB garnered a 3.4 share to WABC's 3.1" among the latter group between the hours of 10 AM and 3 PM, which comprises the last 2 hours of Unfiltered and all of The O'Franken Factor on WLIB and local radio personality John Gambling, Paul Harvey and Rush Limbaugh on WABC. Right-wing-generated rumours of Air America's quick demise have clearly been greatly exaggerated. Despite what amounts to a small set of problems unsurprising for any new business venture, Air America Radio has things well under control. It has been such a nice addition to my daily agenda. I even bought a radio just so I can walk around NYC listening to AA.

I bought a Sirius Satellite Radio so I can hearAirAmerica in my car and at work.

Best $249 I ever spent. :) No more Right wing radio for me. Which is all we got here in Philly

My commute to work is 30 minutes, so I spend an hour on the road. I stream AirAmerica radio from my computer at work, but wanted to hear it on the road and at home. Chose Sirius over XM because I heard Clear Channel owns a big chunk of XM.

I even have stock in Sirius. They are going to be huge when they go video.

they bailed AA out of their cash crunch last week.

and AA was their idea after listening to Malloy in Chicago.

They all deserve our undying gratitude: AA is GREAT and having it to listen to on my way to court or to meet clients up here near NYC is just SOOOO groovy and fun.

I knew about them initially beginning what would eventually become Air America but I didn't know they injected more money into it recently.
