After reading both of them, I'm inclined to say "borderline."

I read an interview with Ann Coulter on Salon.com a few months back, and she came across as both very shallow and kind of a pathetic individual. I got the clear sense her entire sense of identity and self-worth was wrapped up in her being a right-wing player and that she almost seemed to unconsciously blame liberals for the emptiness in her own life. And it is public knowledge that she's frustrated at her inability to find a relationship with a(nother?) man -- she supposedly moved out of D.C. because she felt it wasn't a good town to find dates.

She's just a mean, evil, nasty person. No pathos is necessary.

Coulter is a pathological liar, and she has an impaired capacity to function normally in society. She is non compos mentis.

after all, the main thing about Coulter is her intense suspicion of anyone who disagrees with her - typically she thinks they're traitors, out to destroy the USA.
