Kerry’s National Security Policy
Kerry said, “These four imperatives are a response to an inescapable reality: War has changed; the enemy is different – and we must think and act anew.”
The four new imperatives:
1, Build and lead a new era of alliances. Only Kerry can and will end this war in Iraq.
Unlike President Bush, Kerry has 20 years of deep-rooted international support. Only John Kerry can realistically bring NATO and our international allies to even handedly rebuild Iraq and end this war.
2, Modernize the world’s most powerful military. Through bipartisan leadership, Kerry will rebuild our armed forces.
Only John Kerry will end the Bush created corporate corruption that has greatly plundered and damaged our armed forces ability to fight. John Kerry will end the war crimes by punishing the top neo-cons who created the policy and gave the orders to torture and abuse POW’s. Kerry will end the game of punishing our enlisted men and women for the crimes committed by those on top.
3, Make full use of our diplomatic, intelligence and economic power. John Kerry will let the military to do their job.
George Bush has allowed Donald Rumsfeld and the Neo-Cons to destroy our military and intelligence agencies ability to protect our nation. Rumsfeld’s Office of Special Plans has created a separate, dark government, which has caused a war with in the pentagon and state department. Our most respected and competent generals have been fired or forced to retire for speaking the truth.
4, Free America from its dangerous dependence on Mideast oil. John Kerry will end the Saudi oil and terrorist funding scandal.
Kerry will end Saudi Arabia’s role in financing and providing ideological support of al Qaeda and other terrorist groups. “We cannot continue this Administration’s kid-glove approach to the supply and laundering of terrorist money.” Kerry will “impose tough financial sanctions against nations or banks that engage in money laundering or fail to act against it.” Kerry will launch a “name and shame” campaign against those that are financing terror.
National Security Policy Review
“This is not a partisan cause. Patriotism doesn’t belong to any one Party or President. I will enlist the best among us, regardless of Party, to protect the security of this nation.”
George Bush has indeed failed when it comes to protecting our nation from terrorism. Since 911, we had an anthrax attack that killed 10 Americans, with no convictions or suspects ever identified. These terrorists are still at large. Bush’s top cop John Ashcroft and the entire homeland security dept have come up empty. Unlike President Bush, John Kerry will fully fund our homeland security dept’s real mission to protect our nation from external and internal terrorist attacks. He will smash the partisan walls created by the Bush administration to truly protect us.
