Where have I gone wrong and what can I do better. No one cares? Too much trouble.... what? Inconvenient? (guess what, I don't want to do it either) I'm really confused by you all.

All you have to do is show up. Signs and banners are made, we could always use more,but not necessary. Where is DU in DFW. The rest of DU would be shamed! I know I am.

1. Wish I could be there

I'm originally from the N. Texas area and did a lot of work there supporting different causes.. I know exactly how you are feeling. People will shout and holler all day long but when they are called to stand up... they run away. I wish I could be there with you but my husband is stationed in England with the US Air Force.. So I am of course here with him, by his side.

Good Luck and don't let the weak drag you down. You ARE doing a WONDERFUL job!! You can honestly say YOUR voice is being heard!

your local Greens and Socialists http://www.dallasgreens.net/ contact info at the bottom of the page. (Unless, of course, you ARE a Green, in which case this info isn't new to you. *l*)

It is possible that a bunch of smaller groups are planning separate protests and just need to be coordinated.

6. Dallas Greens are useless! My husband was the County co-chair in

2002. We support David Cobb 100%. Dallas Greens today will be at the premier of the movie "The Day After"" handing out flyers for GreenPeace. Since April 15th not a single member has shown up in support! I'm sorry, yes one did the first week, a member of the Black Caucus.

We need Greens at this protest and up to now they are no shows and a tremendous disappointment!@!!!!

11. Very sorry to hear that :( We have a big to-do tied

in with the global warming movie too, but it's not cutting into other protests besides the Bridges one. (You know, stand on a bridge or overpass during your lunch hour with an anti-war/bush/whatever sign.)

Too bad they aren't willing to divide their time, but I do understand the Dallas Greens wanting to make use of the movie for getting the word out on global warming.

How about your local Peace and Justice chapter? Or any of your local liberal churches??
