Ashcroft gets scarier every day.
He was just on the tube giving his take on the terrorist alert and all I can think is thank God he doesn't have his finger on the trigger. This is one very disturbed person and he's the most powerful attorney in the FUCKING WORLD! sorry. He must go. They all must go. Now.

1. You said it
That guy is a total loon. He would gladly and eagerly order and oversee witch burnings and re-education camps. He is one I can't wait to see step down since I've long given up hope any of these criminals will do the perp walk.

2. Remember the last time he ran for election
his home state told him what he they thought of him - a dead man beat him.

5. I voted for Mel Carnahan, and did so proudly.
In retrospect Asscroft would have done far less damage in the Senate, but who knew? I caught a cold chill when I heard that Shrub had nominated him for AG. Here we are.

11. Think about it, this guy was probably washed up in politics when
bush* made him one of the most powerful people in the world. This is very frightening.

6. WH reprimanded him for not coordinating with HSD
CNN just announced that the WH reprimanded the Justice Dept. for lack of coordination with Homeland Security before the "terra" warning announcement the other day. Although I'm ssure it wasn't Shrub who did it, but probably Rove, I love it when these idiots get their pants kicked by the boss!

12. You Know, There's a Horrible Irony There
Homeland Security was an idea that was formed because different arms and agencies of the government were separated... off doing their own thing. The FBI didn't know what the CIA was doing. The CIA didn't know what Justice was doing. Justice didn't know what the INS was doing.

Now, Justice and Homeland Security aren't coordinating. Same problems, different players.

8. The Majority Report on Air America played a clip of Ashcroft singing....
Some spiritual hymm. Based on his singing alone, you can tell he is so anally retentive he probably hasn't had a bowel movement in a decade.

Worse than anything I've ever seen on American Idol...and I've only seen the outtakes of the rejects.
