To my American friends,

As we head into the 3-day weekend, let's not forget what Memorial Day is about. This year especially, we should be mindful of true nature of this special commemoration. And let’s hope that long before next year’s remembrance, our young men & women are no longer coming home in body bags.

Every day for me is Memorial Day. I daily think of those soldiers and their families.

Every night I see pictures on TV showing soldiers recently killed in Iraq. Yesterday they showed the picture of a 18 year old kid. Killed a couple of days ago.
