2. Well, since they're already making RFID tags.....
Controlling a cell phone network would give them potential access to track anyone using that network. The concept of Bush Jr as the antichrist is sounding more realistic all the time :scared:

October 1999: Carlyle Group joins USIS as strategic and financial partner

USIS is uniquely positioned to deliver this invaluable service. Formerly the Office of Federal Investigations, USIS is now a fully privatized, commercial company. Over 5,600 dedicated and highly trained full-time employees operate from more than 185 locations through out the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U. S. Virgin Islands. In addition to its headquarters in Annandale, Pennsylvania - a high-security, state-of-the-art, underground complex - USIS also maintains Regional Business Centers in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Albuquerque, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle.

As a leading provider of investigations in the United States, USIS completes more than 2.4 million cases a year for the government agencies and the commercial companies it serves.
