How many people can republicans try and discredit...
Before it becomes obvious that they are full of crap and completely incompetent?

Dean? "Crazy! Angry!"
Gore? "Crazy! Angry! Sad!"
Clarke? "Disloyal! Out of the loop! Disgruntled! Just selling books!"
Zinni? "Disgruntled! Just selling books!"
Shinseki? "Out of the loop! Disgruntled!"
The list goes on for a while...

Are people waking up to the fact that they NEVER address the content of what they say, but instead shoot the messenger? It's getting pretty goddamn obnoxious and childish.

These people rushed headlong into a war they were not nearly prepared for, pissed off the entire world while doing it, dick around trying to get their shit together with the post-war occupation while our soldiers die, exposed a CIA operative for political revenge, gave sensitive secrets and over 30 million dollars to a known criminal and fabricator who just happens to have very close ties with Iranian intelligence, ignored terrorist threats before 9/11 and focused on negating arms treaties and building a magical missile defense shield that won't work, encouraged our soldiers to torture POW's in Iraq and were briefed on how best to get around the Geneva conventions, and also told bald-faced lies to the American people about the reasons to go to war and the threat Iraq posed to the US (among many, many, others).

Does anybody buy their spin anymore? How many more honorable servants to the country can they try and piss on before it starts backfiring?

it might take a long time for people to figure it out, because the people being spoken to are probably just as imperfect.

3. More Dems should come forward and let the GOP operatives speak their
same old talking points. It is getting so obvious, no doubt it must be wearing thin.

4. This strategy has worked in the past and can work now if...
the Kerry and the Democratic leadership lets it. On the other hand the repugs could be shooting themselves in the foot this time. The Independent voters are the ones up for grabs in this election and I don't think they will fall for this repug trash. The results of November 2 will tell!

5. Notice the way they go about it...
You get various member of the administration virtually reading from the same script. They try and hammer about three points over and over. This is the signature of the Walrus Karl Rove.

6. It's getting ridiculous...
They might as well start calling people "doodieheads" and be done with it.

It's like our country is being run by a bunch of eighth graders.

Who now outnumber gruntled workers something like 5 to 1.
