3. Far too early.
Remember, even getting the most votes won't guarantee he becomes President.

4. I'll tell you this much
I don't want to wake up November 3 wondering if I could have done anything more to get Stupidhead out of the White House. So, whether Kerry's a shoo-in or not, I'm going to bust my ass volunteering on phone banks, hanging doorknockers, registering voters, writing letters to the editor, and anything else I can think of.

You should do as much as you can, too. The Kerry will be a shoo-in.

5. No.
The big money is against him, the Religious Right is against him, people who got buffaloed into thinking Bush was a great leader after 9/11 and can't admit their mistake are against him, dumbasses of every stripe are against him.

Someone once told Adlai Stevenson that he had the vote of every thinking American. He replied that it wasn't enough, we need a majority.

I'm not saying Kerry can't win. But a shoo-in he ain't.

6. Way too early to tell
I am afraid that we will relax and let our guard down due to the good poll numbers out right now. There is a long long time before November and karl Rove has some dirty tricks up his sleeve. Bush is not going to go away without a fight.

13. they have. and they will.
witness the record breaking primary numbers and you'll see that the voters are mobilized.

however, given what bev has told us about bbv, i'm less sanguine but hopefully cautious, that kerry has got a ways to go before it's inevitable.

14. You 're to young to remember Thos. Dewey, no doubt.
They thought that election was so sewn up that they printed the headlines of the paper, DEWEY WINS! ALas, Harry Truman won. It ain't over till its over.
