Will Clark jump in?
Edited on Tue Aug-12-03 07:58 PM by quinnox
I read a story that indicates it is close to whether Clark joins or not. It said he will announce his decision sometime near labor day. Will he join the fray, or withdraw?

1. I believe Clark will join the race
I like him very much, but lean toward Dean. I liked John Edwards to begin with. Kerry's looking good and even Al Sharpton is
surprising me by his speaking abilities.

3. Clark Will Join the Race
I have thought all along that he would get in. I haven't seen anything yet that would make me change that opinion.

6. Two words: California recall
Once that's settled, his candidacy can be the "big story."

I'm anxious for him to jump in too, but he's waiting for the
right strategic moment - he didn't get those four stars for
nothing!

And remember that Clinton didn't jump in until October.

11. You didn't get the point of my question.
It was rhetorial in nature.

5. IMHO If he does WE WIN

8. I agree.
I think the general could be the one! And maybe it's time we had a military man at the helm, at least he'd understand how wretchedly the troops are being treated under this admin.

10. Yeah, right. Just like Clinton "broke the back of the right wing."
Please tell me a single thing Clark has EVER said, that makes you think he is a determined enemy of the right wing (or that makes you think he's a MORE determined enemy than Clinton was).

At the end of Clinton's presidency, the right wing was stronger than it had EVER been before: strong enough to brazenly steal an election in broad daylight, in front of the whole world. What is it about Clark that makes you believe his relationship with neo-cons would proceed any differently?

9. There will be plenty of time to get to know him.
He is smart to wait. Right now Ahhnold is sucking all the oxygen from the news.
