Poll question: Kerry/Gore for 2004?
Is this even a possibility? And if so, is it a good idea, or will it kill Kerry's campaign?

Who do YOU want to see racing for the White House?

4. Are you kidding? Gore would bring out Democrats in droves
It would be the ultimate revenge match, and have no doubt, Democratic GOTV would run itself.

3. Just a thought
Now that Gore finally seems to have grown some cojones since Bush cheated him out of the White House, he looks a little more appealing.

6. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride?
There's a touch of that. Edwards or Clark with Dean in charge of the DNC.

8. I'm ALL FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This would help Kerry too, IMHO! Here's why

Gore, I think, is testing the waters to get the general reaction. So far, I gather, the crowds like what he has to say.

Gore is nothing BUT a boon to Kerry. Kerry would be dumb not to use Gore, and a complete imbecile to even think of seriously selecting McCain.

9. Kerry should at least float the idea of Gore as VP
the same way he did with McCain. Gore won the popular vote, would have won Florida except for Jeb Bush's vote fraud, and is incredibly popular with the Democratic base. Nothing will fire up the base more and get out the vote and bring in new registrations.

10. If that's all true, then why not just run Gore as the candidate?
And don't get defensive Kerryfans :) I'm just saying that here we have the man who WON the last election, and who's now kicking Bush's ass in speeches, and you want to make him the second banana???

If you want Gore on the ticket, why don't we nominate him, let Kerry be the VP, and watch a landslide happen in November ;)

16. well, the convention is still a month away...
... anything could happen I guess. Whatever happens, Gore is right on, 100%, and Kerry should be praying to God that Gore keeps it up.

11. Clark's Suprising Apeal As a VP
When you think about it, he never really did receive great backing in his run for President but he seems to consistantly come out as the popular favorite of all of the realistic possibilities for VP. Don't get me wrong, I was a supporter when he was in the running for the nomination. I'm just suprised how many folks support him for the VP slot, suprised and delighted.

13. I didn't used to like Gore that much
But damn, that was the best speech I've ever seen.

We missed out on a truly great president.

14. I think that the possibility of Gore as VP would diminish the things...
...he's been saying now and has said in the past. It would make it seem like he's just been saying this stuff to angle for a position. Gore was my first choice but now that he's stepped down (or, in my opinion, brushed aside) I think he's doing TREMENDOUS work where he is right now that he wouldn't be able to do in a VP position.

18. as long as Gore keeps talking, it's okay
however things turn out, I want Gore to keep doing what he is doing right now. Same with Dean and Kucinich. And Zinni - and a few other independent military people that are speaking out. I'm all for making connections and deals with human Republicans like McCain, Warner, and Graham.

I wouldn't mind if it were Kerry/Clark.

I don't think Gore should be the running mate. He had the job once, let it be.

Let's not act like Shrub and use this election as Gore's revenge like shrub has used his entire administration as revenge for Poppa.

edit: Forgot the second R in Kerry in subject
