I knew that you were supporting Kerry, and that's fine with me. When I took that SelectSmart test, he came up number three for me. The thing that you must remember is that a lot of people on DU look to you for leadership. I would start by googling Kerry and Skull and Bones.

Skull and Bones and Opium Trade (the Forbes name will appear and Kerry is of the Boston Forbes family that set up the Russell trust for Skull and Bones in the 1830's with the profits.

It is an elaborate story.

I grew up in a Yale (and Harvard) family. I went to a prep school (like Andover/Exeter where Bush went (and Kerry I believe), In Massachusetts. At the school a "secret society" set up by the old boy CIA network was outed when someone rebelled, kiked his tappers' asses and the police were called. The whole scholl knoew about and , according to classmate of mind, the "old boys" in Intelligence were "furious" because this was a direct route to the secret societies at Yale, Harvard and Princeton where they would join the other spookie offspring on their way to corporate jobs, the CIA, state department or wherever they wanted to plant them, Historically militart servicve and fake or contrived medals were part of the modus operandi (this is ultimately a life and death business). Bush was a chicken shit and, due to his connections, was able to fudge that part -- plus his skull name was "temporary" and NO ONE expected the drunk to get called into service. He was too satupid, lazy, and inept.

KERRY, on the other hand, was groomed for the "opposition" spook party role amongst the Dems. He got a quicky Nam assignment and some quicky medals (all filmed in dramataiv recreations in "hostiler" territory by Kerry's crew with his handy dandy 8 mm handheld movie camera (to be used in future political commercials) and he then (after only four months and four medals awarded outside the usual channels) made it back stateside, got an early release from his military obligations, then got organized to run for Congress. In the interim he used his old sjkull buddies to set him up and get him on tv and in Congress to testify as an antiwar veteran, where he fake threw his medals away on national tv (but really kept them), and then quit the vietnam vets against the war cause they were "too left" for Kerry.

It takes a lot of knowledge and research to understand how these things work.

But, as I have said, I KNOW these people from the inside.

I have no evidence other than Will's undying support for Kerry that Will's word cannot be trusted.

But to say that the RICHEST Senator (worth more than a Half a BILLION dollars) richer than ANY OTHER CONGRESSMAN, would not hire or support or publish someone here on DU or elsewhere to push for his candidacy from the left is not only probable but likley.

And if I were Kerry I would be paying Pitt if he isn't already.

That is sheer speculation on my part, though.

But otherwise Will's schtick just not add up.

I don't believe you can say the things Will does and then credibly back Kerry. It smells funny to me and I have a very good nose.

It's funny, I watch all the candidate bashing on various boards, and even in every day conversation and I don't get it. I mean I understand it's part of the process, but the vicious nature of it at times is just mindboggling.

There are plenty of things to admire about all of them, imho. Why is it those of us who are all after the same outcome (ousting King George and cronies) can't just say, "You know I was listening to so-and-so about healthcare, and I just don't think his/her plan is the best one.". What the hell happened to old fashioned honest debate around here?

I'm old enough to remember when Presidential candidates had open debates, three channels and the debates were on every one of them. I was a kid then and I hated it, but BOY do I long for it now! Two and three hours of listening to them challenge each other. When you walked away from that you KNEW what every one of them stood for. The 30 second soundbyte just doesn't cut it.

I remember that, too. It is early yet.

But seriously, no one should be able to blame you for choosing Kerry if they ever saw your eloquent and lucid defense of him. You're right, back when Kerry surrendered the war-powers vote, the level at which the administration was willing to use rank deception couldn't possibly be known (the biggest evidence of the sort, that Bush lied about the IAEA report, could be dismissed as a "misstatement") and given the fact that Saddam doesn't exactly fit the description of a sentimental victim, and it was conventional wisdom back then that Saddam had at least SOME weaponsofmassdestruction stashed somewhere, it was easy to be swayed by the administration's argument.

As you said, almost everyone who voted against the war-powers act did so because they didn't want to surrender the congressional power to declare war, not that they did not want to prepare for war. Hindsight is always 20/20, and Kerry has done a good job so far criticizing Bush's deceptive drive to war.

Kerry has been a disgrace. Weak, Two-faced, PLUS he said "get over it".

I think that folks need to read the link on Mueller being a hockey teammate with Kerry and not be distracted by the Will's disparagement of me. I don't care about that really.

This type of information is EXACTLY why Kerry cannot be trusted nd why this throws the new public figure speaking for the left, Mr. Pitt's, credibility into play.

But Will does not need a defender here. He is a man. He can take the heat from the left for standing behind Kerry (but can he stand the smell?).

But instead of casting insults you all should be defending the rancidity of your candidate (or at least trying to clean it up).

Kerry simply looks worse and worse as the minutes tick by. Dean looks immeasurably better (though I have questions about his elitist ties too).

The article linked at the Washington Times is pretty sure to be accurate. But I am sure an old St. Paul's school yearbook (where Mueller and Kerry went to school together) would clear it up.

It is like Nader being Rumsfled's classmate (and bragging about it) at Princeton -- or Carlucci (CIA/NSC/CARLYLE) being Rumsfeld Wrestling teammate at Princeton.

It follows a pattern of elitist social and political networks (an area of some expertise for me). Corrupt sociopolitical networks.

Here is a little tidbit for you:

George W. Bush and Al Gore maintained at least some of their prep school friendships for the rest of their lives. Bush's Andover classmate and fellow Texan Clay Johnson is now Bush's appointments secretary.

At a recent Andover reunion, Johnson handed Bush a list showing a prestigious Bush Administration appointment for every one of their Adover classmates. The list was meant as a joke (and a good way to help raise contributions) but it also shows the powerful impact of friendships formed at these prestigious schools.

Al Gore's St. Albans pal Reed Hundt now serves on Gore's presidential campaign as what he calls "informal 'oldest friend' advisor." Reed and Al attended The Beatles' first U.S. concert together and later were debate partners.

Today, Hundt is a senior advisor with a prestigious consulting firm and previously served as the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission. Hundt later attended school with George W. Bush at Yale.

Another St. Albans ally for Al, though several years behind him at St. Albans, is Senator Evan Bayh from Indiana.

Do these stories show there is an "old boys network" among graduates of these prestigious schools? Many alumni are hesitant to admit it flat out. But St. Albans and Andover, like most colleges, mail free alumni networking books to their graduates and encourage alumni to stay in touch and help each other find jobs. The point is NOT whether or not you actually attended the schools. What makes the difference is what you do with those connections. Mueller being a teammate with Kerry on the St. Paul Hockey team is a piece of information that reveals their closeness.

These elites do interact and support each other. But if you become a spook or covert secret society operator it will get revealed ovver time. Gore is not the issue: WHAT did he do with those connections.

I have concerns about Dean for the same reasons. Can he be trusted? I don't know. But if we are infoirmed then we can watch them all the more carefully.

For ME, Kerry's BCCI and cocain/cia coverup as well as his proBush votes in the past tweo years demonstrates that he is on the side of the BFEE.

His fakey vietnam medals things and his home movies reenacting his heroics there and the Vietnam real estate deals all make me believe that he is at one with his Bushit Skull and Bones blood brothers.

So the simple fact that someone was at the same school at the same time is NOT an indictment. It raises suspicions and watchfulness. These ties (unmentioned until recently) about the closeness of Mueller and Kerry are really troubling. They MUST be close in many ways. Would Kerry sell out his old St Paul teammate if he were complict with the BFEE.

Those are the questions that need to be raised.

Kerry's cousin got the Vietnam harbor real estate development deal after Kerry got Vietnam certified as clear of MIA's and human rights abuses. A lot of vets (and Vietnamese) are pissed. But , again, most of the attacks come from the right. I think the left should be concerned.

I will try to find the name of the company which is one of the largest real estate companies in the world, particularly asia, and is kinda like Carlyle in its magnitude, except in real estate.

It smells awful.


And I think the left is being fooled by Kerry's act. Especially Pitt, unfortunately. Unless he is not fooled - which is worse and sad to me.

Cause I think Pitt's talent should go to the more progressive candidates.
