how many of these networks now criticizing Gore broadcast his speech?
I recall that MSNBC had just a snippet....they were looking for a soundbite, that's all. C-SPAN broadcast it later in entirety. Ohter than that, did any of them broadcast the speech?

So now, they take a 1-hour speech and show the most passionate 15 seconds to the American public and show how the "wooden man" has turned into Howard Dean? I wish htey had shown the speech - then they would not have dared to portray it as they have done...

3. Gore did a great job! The media just can't retreat
from their 2000 bash Gore stance. Someone needed to say what he did and I can't think of anyone better. Just think, if our REAL President had been in office we would never have invaded Iraq. The men and women who have died because of the monster now in the WH would be with us.

9. It should be clear by now...
...that the 'ruling class' can't afford someone like Gore or Dean to become popular leaders. They want someone like Clinton or Bush* or Kerry that will favor the wealthy over the poor...the CEO over the worker.

- The corporate press will do a job on anyone that gets in the way of their agenda. It's no accident that the corporate media is being used as a political tool to get rid of progressives. And don't think it's just the Republicans who support this type of garbage. You'll find the DLC working behind the scenes to make sure their progressive competition is eliminated.

10. I agree. They don't want anybody "scary" who might tell the truth
To me this is the biggest story of the new millenium in this country. How the media has failed democracy. And nobody but us realizes it.

14. There was more coverage than I thought. And, the Big Soundbyte....
THEY should RESIGN, got heard by folk out there just waking up and wanting to hear a voice speak for them. I keep thinking about the over 50% of Americans who voted for Gore, were beat in to submission by the
Supremes and then 9/11 who are just coming out of their "state of shock" and while Dean's outspokeness was too soon for most of them...hearing Gore call for RESIGNATIONS probably hid a cord with them that they are so much wanting to hear.

Has Bush's Invasions of two Countries made us "safer" from terrorism?
NO! Are people becoming afraid of this Administration..I think so.

I was pleased to see the clips I saw of Gore. We sure didn't seem much of anything in the media from the other speeches he's given. This is a "turn." I guess we'll have to see how it turns out, but I think folks seeing "Move On.org." on the Podium, might just say "What's that Move On thing." Those folks who are way behind most of us, here. Might give them some more members and information on what they can do now that they know the Chimp & Co. are dangerous, clueless idiots run by extremists.
