The 40 people killed after a wedding party in Iraq.
The media seems to have dropped the issue that the US killed 40 people after a wedding party in Iraq near the Syrian border.

Video shows the wedding party, but the Pentagon spokesman Kimmit keeps insisting there was no wedding party.

The media should keep interviewing survivors and asking him about it.

What is supposed to stop this from happening again?

It already happened in Afghanistan before it happened in Iraq.

2. One of the many unfortunate aspects of war
I'm afraid that the story is losing momentum because what happened was, from what I've learned, an accident.

Soldiers heard Iraqi party-goers shooting in the air in celebration and so the soldiers started shooting at them.

One of the many reasons why THE WAR HAS GOT TO STOP.

3. By promoting the yes-men and the loyal partisans ...
the Bush cabal has destroyed the credibility and reputation of our military. The most important standard for generals now is not competence, but loyalty to the neocons.
I believe the Iraqis. I am saddend beyond words how low Bush has dragged this country.

6. I would prefer a Pentagon spokesman who makes an effort
I would prefer a Pentagon spokesman who makes an effort to tell the truth (while spinning) to one who makes declarations like General Kimmit that there was no wedding party massacred and that every prisoner at Abu Ghraib is guilty.

5. Does anyone remember the Baghdad market bombing of 3/26/03
when 14 people were killed by a air-to-ground missile attack?

7. The Iraqis will remember
and Americans will end up suffering for it, it would help the situation if the regime would 'cop' to it and apologize.
