Terror Alert Disinformation: Jihad source or BushCo? Or both?
The latest terror alert put out by Ashcroft suspect?
Jeez, tell me something I don't know.

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/5087301/

WASHINGTON - Earlier this week Attorney General John Ashcroft warned of an attack planned on America for sometime in the coming months. That may happen, but NBC News has learned one of Ashcroft’s sources is highly suspect.

“This particular group is not really taken seriously by Western intelligence,” said terrorism expert M.J. Gohel of the Asia-Pacific Foundation, an international policy assessment group. “It does not appear to have any real field operational capability. But it is certainly part of the global jihad movement — part of its propaganda wing, if you like. It likes to weave a web of lies; it likes to put out disinformation so that the truth is deeply buried. So it is a dangerous group in that sense, but it is not taken seriously in terms of its operational capability.”

1. 6 of one, half dozen of the other
I think most of the "Jihadis" are Bush blackops agents, frankly.

The leaders like Osama certainly are - with very few exceptions.

2. You know the saying
"You can't believe anything you read on the internet. Except al-Qaeda claims of responsibility."

The Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades have claimed responsibility for the Madrid bombings, attacks in Iraq inluding the UN headquarters bombing, bombings in Jakarta and Istanbul... it was they who announced after the Spanish election that Spain would no longer be targeted (helping that 'Spain voted to appease terrorists' meme along), and of course they took credit for the east coast blackouts in 2003. Other than the ridiculous last one, ALL their claims of "al-Qaeda" responsibility for attacks are accepted uncritically and disseminated widely.

Looking at that quick list, lots of things they claim credit for then get pinned on al-Zarqawi too. :eyes:

3. Terror Alert Scorecard
Terror Alert Scorecard
Would you like to have an "advance warning" of a Terror Warning? Many people have questioned just how politically motivated are the Terror Warnings.

Get your TERROR ALERT SCORECARD here -- be the first on your block to know when to go out and stock up on plastic sheeting and duct tape.
scroll down to middle of page --> http://radicalfringe.freeservers.com/contact.html

there are also graphs showing correlation between bush* poll numbers and the type of terralert
