While hunting down some research this list of people comes up only it's not what is needed but still this line catches the eye.

Under a heading
"List of people associated with World War II "

George H. W. Bush, (born 1924), US Navy pilot

It's not that many people listed and it really is upsetting that the creep is listed when had he not bent the rules the two guys in his plane might have lived.

Anyway right after That entry is this one that made up for it a bit.

Prescott Bush, (1895-1972), banker and Nazi sympathizer

Here's the main link

but the list is here

1. Heck, ole Prescott had dealings with the Nazis into the 50's
.
.
.

Musta been some sort of Bush training ground for ethics . .

“Bush - Nazi Dealings Continued Until 1951” - Federal Documents

By John Buchanan and Stacey Michael
from The New Hampshire Gazette Vol. 248, No. 3, November 7, 2003

After the seizures in late 1942 of five U.S. enterprises he managed on behalf of Nazi industrialist Fritz Thyssen, Prescott Bush, the grandfather of President George W. Bush, failed to divest himself of more than a dozen "enemy national" relationships that continued until as late as 1951, newly-discovered U.S. government documents reveal.

Furthermore, the records show that Bush and his colleagues routinely attempted to conceal their activities from government investigators.

MORE

And almost half the USA wants to RE-ELECT Bush?

We are in trouble indeed.

Be afraid.

Be VERY afraid.

4. Uhhh
They tried to routinely hide illegal activities from the government investigators? Isn't that sort of what all criminals do?

2. HA! Unintentional joke
I went to the site and clicked on Prescott Bush's link. Wouldn't ya know it, the next page had a link for "Support No Child Left Behind." Maybe they knew they couldn't put it after you found out it's creator's grandfather was a Nazi?

5. In fairness,
W* cannot be held responsible for his Grandfather's wrongs. (I wouldn't want to be held responsible for my late granddad's actions!)

But -- has W* ever explicitly disavowed his grandfather's Nazi sympathies and assistance to the NAZI war effort against the United States? (I certainly disavow my grandfather's racism and possible criminal activity!!)

He should be asked. If he will not disavow it, THEN he can be held culpable!

I wonder who has the guts to ask.

6. W* can and should be held
responsible for the sins of his forefathers, afterall, he has profitted from the largesse of his forefathers past. If he has truly "explicitly disavowed his grandfathers's Nazi sympathies..." then he will also separate himself from all the influence that has been a powerful force in his rise to power.

7. Well, I benefit from gandpop's rapacity, too.
I still get a couple hundred bucks a year out of what is left of his property. I'd give it to my sister, but the lawyer's fees would eat it up ... By your standards, pretty much all inherited wealth in the country would be forfeit. I can dig it, but it still is not right to single out Bush* for special treatment -- on that score. The sins of the fathers are NOT the responsibility of the sons (or grandsons).
