because the DLC needed someone as a "lightening Rod" to prepare the road for Kerry!

I say this because, I think Dean didn't realize the huge support his voice for supprt of "anti-IRAQ Invasion wing of the Party, "The support for reality that election of 2000 was STOLEN from Gore, and his "We are not Safer with Saddam Caught" would engage.

His wife didn't want him to run...and made sure she "distanced" herself from DC and Dean was thrilled with all the attention but loved his wife and didn't want to do this to himself or his family.

Dean wanted to make a HUGE DIFFERENCE! He wanted to be a VOICE...but he wasn't ready and his family wasn't ready and the DLC wasn't ready and it all got "mucked up" in the trying.

BUT...We on the Left/Left owe a HUGE DEBT to Howard Dean. He SPOKE FOR US who HAD NO VOICE after 9/11.

(and a cheer for Kucinich...but this post is about Dean..so I won't get into that)
