Just watched Andy Rooney on 60 Minutes....Wow!

Those pictures of our dead soldiers certainly bring it home. How can anyone glorify war but especially a totally unnecessary, illegal, unprovoked war like the one raging in Iraq? those photos make me change my mind about the draft. We should have one. At least some of the children of the chickenhawks will be called up. And, we are so short of troops I believe it will be much more difficult for the children of the rich to escape. We need to make the draft laws different so that college and marriage within two years of the draft make no difference. Those West Point graduates will be changing their tune when many of them will be snatched for Iraq and Afghanistan within a few short months.
It was just so heartbreaking to view those photos. Americans of all stripes, beautiful people, lives wasted and lost. How sad.

WSPA Spartanburg. It just went off the air! Am I the only one who saw this? How can they possibly think this would garner support?
