George the 1st in WWII
I take no pleasure in critisizing any Veteran, never the less I do believe people should be aware of what those who served with Bush 1 have to say as he is now engaged in WAR PROFITEERING. For an account by those who served with g.w.h. bush during WWII go to < http://www.tarpley.net/bush6.htm >. ...Oscar

1. Not losing sleep over this one...
I have to have a certain amount of respect for any man who pulls strings to get himself into a combat, rather than out of it. (I'm amused that the writer of the article tries to spin it negatively...) The fact that Bush successfully made a water landing when he was not in combat also does not indicate that that's what he should have done in combat.
Sure Bush pushed the veteran angle, but then again so has every other politician in Washington who can claim to be a war hero with anything like a straight face. He certainly has more of a claim to it than his son.

was not out there with the likes of Frank Carlucci and a brother of Osama bin Laden making money selling arms to who knows who I would not have mentioned it, I`m glad you at least found some amusement in the article.I have no idea what happened to him so as to turn him into such a corrupt basterd. Have a nice day . ...Oscar

3. bush bailed in WW2
someone must have the links for this -- but i believe bush bailed on his fellow flyers during a crash -- he ejected and they went down with the plane. the whole family is cowardly.
