1. Yes this is a disgrace but no real surprise

Young cops in groups do silly things when alcohol is concerned. Other reports circulating is that one of the students punched the drunk officer first during an argument, which could definitely be self-defense, but not the best start to the evening.

I say with all confidence that there is no Anti-American feelings in Western Australia, but there is a definite Anti-War sentiment, which has pushed some people to point out the obvious with the prisoner abuse scandal.

It's just frustrating that bush policies put us at risk of, if nothing else, being taunted or just talked to rudely. I'm sure US visitors even in usually friendly places will generate stares of disdain from at least some people when our nationality is found out (not to mention more boldness in speech if alcohol is envolved). Of course, I don't blame anyone except those responsible for our current foreign policy strategy.
