daddybush used to use the term all the time, stay the course, stay the course, like a stupid mantra. now jr. is using it to the point of nausea. fuck the course. the course is a dead end road to hell.
fuck the course. a roadmap to peace in the middle east? fuck that.
that is a huge lie, as was the whole point of going to war. fuck the course. victory with honor? fuck that. finish the job? fuck it.

pull out now! it's a total clusterfuck disaster. not one more man or woman should die, not one soldier, not one freedom fighter, not one more mother or child. fuck it. fuck the course.

Stay the course was the GOP's slogan in the off-year elections of 1982 when Reagan was in the White House. Citing some bad economic figures, Senator Kennedy tried to turn it into "they've flunked the course." However, economic figures were improving to the satisfaction of most voters and GOP losses that year were minimal.

Id grab the limb because staying the course when the course leads to doom is the same as digging a hole so deep you cant climb out of it.
