rapturous Behinders coming to your tv
June 7 issue of OnSat magazine:

Part Peacock, Part Dove. That's a good
description of the PaxTV network. Up until
now it's been mostly "dove", with an
evening array of shows for the family.
But that may change thanks to the "peacock",
otherwise known as NBC, who has invested
a large sum in the fledgling network.

But don't expect anything bad on their new
schedule. All shows will still be aimed
at family viewing, with nothing to shock
Junior, his little sister or Aunt Maude.

////////

But Pax will have some scripted dramas
as well. Left Behind will be based on
the series of best-selling books.

////////

The rest of the article talks about other
shows.

We will not watch this bs

1. Will little Mikey Seaver star in the series, like he did in the movies?
I'm not sure if you can translate books like that into an hourly series. Guess they figured that would be cheaper than making 11 movies? :shrug:

3.  Movies??!!
They have already made movies about this nonsense??!!

I am at a loss for words.

I am wondering just who is going to be stupid enough
to have anything to do with this show.

We are doing our various boycotts - closed
our accounts at Bank of America, Washington Mutual
etc.

We won't spend money on any Republican movies
or music.

2. Ratings to be measured with a micrometer
It's part of the wonderful world of cable, offering viewers an incredible range and variety of unmitigated crap. I don't watch the Golf Channel, the Game Show Channel, or Pax (what a perverted network name!). But I'm glad they're there for the folks who appreciate such stuff.

Does ESPN really need five channels?
