I wanted to hear about these Enron tapes, but can't get past everyone's opinion on Scott Peterson. I DON'T CARE!!! TV IS OFF.

I don't care about any of those celebrity trials - Michael Jackson, Kobe Byrant, Jayson Willliams, Scott Peterson.

The media loves to make mountains over molehills, these trials aren't real news, they are more like gossip columns.

Because they aren't journalists.

Those takes up all our local news for an entire hour or more. The actual news of the day is pre-empted for the possible chance to see a crash.

This is what the so-called "liberal media" has been waiting, chomping at the bit, to fill our summer with. Nonsense and pablum and "courtroom drama" that have nothing to do with nothing about anything. Which is exactly the point. They've been miserable having to report on Iraq and prison abuses and gas prices and Bush and consequently watching his poll numbers go further and further down. Speaking of which, where the _+@#%_+(_ are the rest of the "even more shocking" abu ghraib photos and information that we were supposed to be seeing? I guess it's like parents who accidentally promise their kids a trip to disneyland... They're just waiting for us to forget. So, yeah, the media is absolutely thrilled that they can waste their time on "news" like this.
