The Dick lawyered up?
I just saw a teaser on the news about Cheney hiring O'Donnell, a Washington DC lawyer to represent him in the Plame investigation.

I didn't see any other threads about this.... does anyone else know anything?

1. Well, I think they're just softening us up.
I heard it whispered about during CNN's "Inside Politics" today. There's also this little gem, which seems to sum it up:

Asked about the leak investigation, Vice President Dick Cheney's office said that if the vice president were to seek counsel on any issue, he would do so with Terrence O'Donnell, a senior partner in the Washington law firm of Williams & Connelly. Cheney has consulted with O'Donnell for years.

If the VP were to seek counsel... he would call O'Donnell. Uh-huh. Methinks that phone call has already been made.

2. Williams & Connally is a big time white collar crime defense firm
Cheney's attorney is with one of the largest and most well connected white collar criminal defense firms in the country.
