Excellent LTTE in response to disgusting editorial re: Gore's speech
In the small town newspaper from the town in western PA that I grew up in. The paper is very conservative and I've never heard them say a decent word about a Democrat as long as I can remember. Here's the disgusting editorial in response to Gore's speech:

And here's the LTTE that sets the freeper editors straight:

I'm posting this because 1. PA is a swing state and 2. I love it when the people who run this paper get called on their BS. It gives me hope. Also, the county that this paper is from went for Gore in 2000, which makes it even more galling to have such right wing nuts running the local paper.

4. Right on (Lawrence) Nader...
Geez...the editorial seems right out of the Ann Coulter playbook. Does the print edition of that newspaper come in crayon?

5. Even More Ironic I think
The Editorial States -

"And it's unlikely that either Rumsfeld, Rice or Tenet will step down just because Gore wants them to. We know he believes he's really the president, but he still can't fire people"

I guess someone in the administration is listening to Mr. Gore.

2. The Clenis argument only rings with conservatives
This argument of last resort wins no one over to Bush. The original editorial looks really bad and partisan when compared to the facts in the LTTE.
