As of May 12, California soldiers made up almost a THIRD of the KIA

I found this little article while googling for something else.. If I recall, the "death total" was around 120 something as of May 1 when they dropped the chimp onto the carrier..

I counted THIRTY SEVEN soldiers from California.. and this list only goes up to May 12.. I know of several more since then.. This does not even include the "not seriously injured amputees" or ANY injured..

It really annoys me that all the media can do is hoot and howl with laughter over the repube recall fiasco , and repeat lies about Davis, but , I have seen NOTHING about the patriotic side of all these Californians who sent their kids off to die, so Cheney could hug an oil barrel..

2. I've been thinking about this a lot lately.

Not from your Cal perspective, but regarding the losses in my own state. Vermont with a population of 600,000, has had four troops KIA.
The most recent death happened within the last few days. What about other states? If you know, please post.

4. One of my son's soccer teammates was killed last month

He had a soccer scholarship to college and dropped out because his girlfriend broke up with him..:(.. He joined the marines.. (The military loves soccer players..(ENDURANCE).. I think he was killed July 9th:(..

He was a sweet kid..
