Bush is toast. CSPAN now. Veterans and fathers of soldiers telling
it's a phony war, lied about WMD to get into, bring our
troops home now, lying to the soldiers, how many lives for a gallon of oil, and so on. Iraq was never a threat to the US.......

the Anti Viet Nam protesters never never started this early...
It was 5 years before the protests began in earnest, I think

This is EARNEST. believe me.

2. a little clip was on CNN...
but then it was shortly cut off by Ahhnold mania.

I suspect this trend of more anti-war sentiment will creep back into the media again. Ahhnold might be hot now, but remember Laci Petterson? Kobe? They have all been ignored somewhat by the media too. Soon Ahhnold will be sent to old news heaven.

7. Don't worry about CNN...
Edited on Thu Aug-14-03 12:22 AM by Isome
The networks seem to be content to lag behind the curve of public sentiment... far behind it.

The pretender-to-the-throne and his foolhardy ramblings have spawned this site .::Bring Them Home Now::. (the subject of the CSPAN interview). Military families can now find a safe haven to speak out, because the founders, military families themselves, will protect their identity if necessary.

11. CNN is going to Crawford? I guess Candy C.
is already there. Making sure Bush's feet are washed and carefully dried, with time out for live appearances.

8. The "Stars and Stripes" has also given it good coverage
This will be sent to the deployed troops.

'Bring Them Home Now' speakers rip U.S. policy on Iraq

WASHINGTON — They wanted their message to be clear: It’s possible to support the troops and not support the war they’re fighting.

10. I wonder...........
.......if C-SPAN continues to be a threat to BFEE what about this......

C-SPAN is a collaborative venture of the cable TV industry. So..... if they put Chimpy in a bad light could it not be possible that Colin Powell's kid might lean on the cable TV industry just enough until they say "uncle"????

13. Congress might have something to say about that - that's the
only time a lot of those reps get to be seen
on tv. I think they're safe.
