Create a candidate

For you consideration.
Please use two qualities from each of the nine current Democratic candidates for President to create a Candidate. Please list the candidates and write two qualitites you admire in them and would take from them for your composite candidate.

1. Here is my list

Braun - black / women
Dean - opposed the Iraqi war / medical doctor
Edwards - southern / grew up poor
Gephardt - national recognition / union support
Graham - Former Gov. / best to carry Florida
Kerry - war hero / national recognition
Kucinich - liberal ~ progressive posistions / grew up poor
Lieberman - national recognition / jewish
Sharpton - liberal ~ progressive posistions / activist

My composite
A southern black, jewish, women. A war hero, medical doctor that grew up poor. Progressive ~ liberal that opposed the Iraqi war. National recognition and able to carry Florida. Supporter of labor.

Kerry:

History of activism (Vietnam Vets against the War)
Gravitas

Dean:

Indignation and anger at B*sh crimes
Inspiration of the grassroots

Clark:

National security credibility
Intellectual horsepower

Gephardt:

Commitment to labor
Beltway savvy

Sharpton:

Poise and oratory
Ability to stay on message

Kucinich:

Progressive policy credibility
Tenacity

Moseley-Braun:

Social progressiveness
Willingness to stand up against personal attacks

Graham:

Truman-like charisma
More national security credibility

Lieberman:

Appeal to conservatives
Loyalty to Gore

Edwards:

Anti-corporate stance
Youth and vigor (WJC/JFK)
