2. I don't think it needs to be DU'd
There are too many folks out there being slapped in the face by reality, and it doesn't matter how the bush machine spins it. Facts are facts, and the truth always comes out.

Trying to do to many things at once.

http://www.cnn.com

Do you share President Bush's optimism over the economy?

Yes 38% 65064 votes

No 62% 106683 votes
Total: 171747 votes

What a joke! Unless the optimism is geared to will the rich get richer at the expense of everyone else.
Earlier today my mother voted and the percentage was the same. I know that 38% aren't going to benefit from any plan the Bush administration puts forth. It must be hard to go through life when you can't see where your going, not to mention it must be hard on your back when your head is stuck ...well you know where.

what is up with the graphic you get after you vote? It displays two bars, one for each answer, and they are nearly the same color. Are they trying to deemphasize the difference between the number of yes and no responses.
<color me shocked>

With a minor in tech writer, I understand the kinds of communication that can take place by coloring a graph so I'm not just making this up. If you really want people to recognize a difference in something, you color it in a way to make that difference stand out.

9. I was a little surprised that the "Yes" votes were as high as they were.
But I think that points to a general tendency for people to "be optimistic".

Blitzer's poll has a different take:
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/wolf.blitzer.reports/
Do you think President Bush will turn around the economy before next year's election?
Yes: 9%
No: 91%
