Why Iraq was a war for oil (and why it failed)
(Read the whole post before you jump on my assumption.)

Let's assume this for fact. We don't give a shit if a bunch of Iraqis or some soldiers die. They're not good white folk and somebody has to die anyways (no offense meant to white people here).

.....

So everybody understands, have you ever taken a class in high school or college?

You have a 85 average over 10 tests. Suppose you need to bomb your next test in order to make a 100 on the next 2 tests.

Average

85*10
+
0*1
+
100*2
=
1050/13
=
80.77

Thus, you have a lower grade than you had before.

1. This is confusing to me
I don't get your point--but I do care whether Iraqis die. Now if they were a real threat, as President Bush portrayed them--if they had collaborated with Al-Queda in September 11th for exampe (I know they didnt, of course, just if they had), than we would have been justified in invading them which would inevitably have led to civilian deaths.

That said, that's not the case, is it? Saddam was a threat, but not an immediate threat that required war and civilian deaths.

But getting back to your post--I don't get what you are trying to say.

2. Pretty much, oil output hasn't gone up
So putting aside who dies, the war was still a failure.

3. Up or Down, it doesn't matter
What matter now is who controls it. Get it?
