The NYT strikes again..likens Kerry to a "caged hamster!"
This woman is after Kerry...not to help but to hurt him. Why doesn't she liken him to a "caged tiger?" or some other animal that is NOT A HAMSTER!!!!!

Go to the dailyhowler.com and do a search for Wilgoren's name. She's the one who did the story about Kerry's "valet."

8. I've given up on the NYT's . I'll read Krugman and Dowd, but the rest is
trash. This article is so ridiculous, I think anyone would laugh at it and use it for litter liner.

And, I'm one who has been critical of Kerry's strategy...but this is a personal attack on him which shows total desperation by the writer.

16. IT'S A GOOD ARTICLE, HAMSTERS
Really. Paints a good, full picture of a likable man. A lot of the media is shit, granted. But before we rant, we should take the time to really think about what's presented in the piece.

Kerry comes across as smart, concerned, funny, athletic, interested in music and pop-culture, highly literate, unconcerned with polls, respectful of his friends, desperate for some fresh air yet eager to get to work.

Just because you don't like hamsters doesn't make the article an anti-Kerry diatribe. Jeez, let's stop the knee-jerk, freeperish reactions.

I thought the article painted a very appealing picture of a man and a very reassuring and trust-inspiring picture of a leader who is on top of the important things. Hamsters not withstanding.

20. You're right.
I should have spent more time reading it than looking for bad news about Wilgoren (although there is plenty of that). While the hamster lede isn't the best, the rest of the article is pretty good--especially the part about him being a father figure.
