How do we know this was not a terrorist attack?

How do we know this was not a terrorist attack?
I am amazed how quickly they claimed this had nothing to do with terrorism. Yet we get explanations of lightning strikes where no thunderstorms were present. Immediately after the outage, the dollar started falling on the fear of terrorism.

To prevent an economic crisis, do you believe the government would attempt to "hide" a terrorist attack to save the markets?

blackouts DO happen.

And if it WAS a terrorist action, I think Bush would be the first to exploit it. Sounds like a normal outage to me.

i heard of the power outage , would they even tell us the truth and take a chance of maybe the polls not going good for them for having there pants down again well we were being sabatoged again

5. do you remember the plane crash in NYC
shortly after 9-11? Plane was headed to the Dominican Republic. Almost IMMEDIATELY they were on TV assuring everyone that THIS WAS NOT TERRORISM!! How the fuck did they know?

In short, my answer to your question is-- WE DON'T!

8. Well I just turned off the set after listening to Pataki
talk about how they are trying to find the cause. They don't know what caused it, but they are sure it wasn't terrorism. Don't they think we can follow simple logic? I'm not saying that it was or wasn't terrorism, but why are those three little words ("I don't know") so hard for politicians to say?

7. Might be A Cover-Up
but more of a cover-up for incompetency and to keep people looking the other.
I mean the explanations are a combo...heat wave with record high demand, crap equipment,'privatization' and maybe the MsBlaster worm took off some of the 'puters for maintainence...

No real :tinfoilhat: here...just very important and well paid people not doing their job
